BOURNE EXTRA CLUB NEWS 2007/8

This booklet tells you about the extra-curricula activities, which are taking place until Easter.  They will commence week beginning 22nd September.

As you can see we have a wide range of activities available for your child.   Choices will therefore have to be made as to which club your child wishes to participate in.     Please note the age group for each club.

If your child is eligible and interested in taking part in one or more of the club[s] please use the reply slip, at the back of this booklet, and return it to the OFFICE.     Children should request places in all clubs they are interested in attending whether in the Autumn or Spring term.

We would like to stress that your child should attend the club regularly unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, as there is obviously a lot of interest and places are limited.

It would also be appreciated, if when collecting your child, you ensure that you arrive promptly at the finishing time.

If any parents are willing to help at any of these clubs please speak to the adult in charge.

There will be a charge of £5.00 per club [unless stated otherwise] per child towards the cost of materials and equipment.

There is a form at the end of the booklet for you to give permission if you wish your child to walk home alone at the end of their club.    Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate children being collected by taxis at the end of their club.

Copies of the list of names of children in each club will be put on the window by the school office.   Children attending limited number of session clubs such as Art, Cookery etc will receive written notification prior to their starting date.
