The government has given extra funding to schools to be spent on sport in school. The aim is to increase sport provision for children and also to improve the quality of the provision they receive. It is also hoped that this will result in a legacy of young people developing a sporting habit in life.
Physical Education and school sport play an important part in the life of Bourne School. We believe that they are an important part of the holistic development of our children, and through these they learn more about values such as respect, co-operation, team spirit, friendship, courage, determination etc.
